A green movement project, which includes logo creation, poster design, and reminder sticker design.
This project is created to increase awareness among the students of San Francisco State University. The logo directly suggests the intention of this movement, to encourage basic, daily responsibility to the environment.

A project based on Experimental Typography, which includes a 16 x 24” poster, layout design of a 60 page book, and a static one-page web site. The theme of the project plays along with the boldness  of experimental typography. A catchphrase “it’s just an experiment” was used to represent what experimental typography means to most people but the real meaning of experimental typography is yet to be discovered, at times defined individually.

A project that involved producing a short movie/ video as a reflection on consumerism. Tasks include video rendering/editing, image illustration, and music editing.  Barcodes, a symbol of consumer society, are used throughout the video, from the conveyor belt to every merchandise that appears in daily necessities. The audience is lead by the camera in a stimulated 3D world. The quicktime video is produced with Adobe After Affect.

SFThriftChicks.com is a web site that is dedicated to a selection of thrift stores based in San Francisco. This project involved creating a web site that allows users to search, locate, and compare thrift stores based on consumers’ reviews.

The thrift stores are organized and presented based on popularity. Users are able to obtain information and compare thrift stores based on reviews. “Chicks” are created in different sizes based on the popularity of the stores. This allows users to easily spot and compare the different thrift stores that are also categorized into different areas. Illustrations are done in Adobe Illustrator while the web site is built with Adobe Flash.

Branding and identity design of ‘Bllew’, a newly formed innovative team of wedding photographers, a husband and wife couple, based in the Bay area. The logo is designed with the initials of the couple.Created with the focus icon of digital camera, the logo captures their fresh spirit and mission, dedicated to deliver quality pictures. A tint of blue was requested by this client to represent the joining of their names. A lighter blue is paired with a brownish-grey for a fresh and romantic touch.

E3– 3 ecologically friendly bulbs that come in an attractive, convenient and eco-friendly packaging. The packaging is designed to encourage recycling and to increase level of convenience for the users as well as shipping.

For an electronic product, the logo is designed to suggest the collaboration of technology and nature. The logo is created by using pattern of leaves to illustrate the name E3. Light illuminates, therefore the logo is kept in an outline form which later can be cut out on the packaging. The single solid leaf is used to demonstrate the tear-able ability of the packaging design. All illustration and 3D rendering are done in Adobe Illustrator.

A branding project for SFMOMA. Project includes creation of logo, shopping bag, and a poster/mailer.
The museum is looking for a new look to update the design that has been used for the past 10 years.

The logo should look contemporary without the feeling of being intimidated. A round shape gives the new logo a softer look which is simple and inviting. Adobe Illustrator was used to create the logo and shopping bag. Adobe Indesign is used to design the layout of the poster mailer for the Jan/Feb issue.
